Congratulations to our first born, Calvin Beeke, who turned 30 today. Your mother and I love you so much, my son—more than you can know. I pray that now that you have joined the ranks of middle-aged men (30-60!), God will continue to conform you to Christ so that you will increasingly grow in hating sin, loving the triune God, and cultivating holiness. I wish you and your dear Laura and precious children every blessing in Immanuel for this life (see Heb. 12:1-2) and for a better life to come (see Rev. 21), and pray that we may all enjoy many more years together as a family. May God’s benediction continue to rest upon you personally, upon your marriage and family, and upon your work in society and in the church as deacon.
